Who operates OG Socials
OG Socials is operated by Robert J Johnston trading as OG-web.site. This policy covers the OG Socials desktop application, its website and the secure online services used to connect accounts, publish approved content and manage paid access.
Information we handle
- Account information you provide, such as your name, email address and subscription status.
- Media, captions, brand settings, schedules and other content you choose to create, import or publish.
- Connected-account identifiers, Page or professional-account details, permissions and access tokens returned after you authorise Meta or another provider.
- Technical and security records needed to operate the service, investigate failures and prevent misuse.
- Billing identifiers, invoices and subscription events supplied by our payment provider. OG Socials does not store complete payment-card details.
How information is used
- To provide the features you request, including content preparation, scheduling and publication to accounts you authorise.
- To maintain connected accounts, process subscription access, provide support and keep the service secure.
- To meet legal, accounting and platform-policy obligations and to respond to valid data-rights requests.
External services
Meta, Google, YouTube, OpenAI, Stripe and any other provider you choose to connect process information under their own terms and privacy policies. OG Socials sends a provider only the information needed for the action you authorise. We do not sell personal information.
Storage, security and retention
Local projects remain on your device unless you choose an online feature. Server-side credentials and provider tokens must be encrypted and kept outside the distributed desktop package. We retain information only for as long as it is needed to provide the service, protect it, resolve disputes and meet legal or accounting duties. Disconnecting an account stops future authorised access; a deletion request removes or anonymises information we control unless retention is legally required.
Your rights and choices
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability. You may disconnect a provider at any time through OG Socials or the provider. To exercise a right or ask a privacy question, contact og@og-web.site.
Children and policy changes
OG Socials is a business and creator tool and is not directed at children. Material changes to this policy will be published on this page with an updated date.
